Environmental Policy

1. Policy Statement
Bell Security and Risk Limited is committed to minimising our environmental impact and continuously improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods. We will encourage our customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to do the same.

2. Purpose
This policy aims to integrate a philosophy of sustainable development throughout the company and to establish and promote sound environmental practice in our operations.

3. Scope
This policy applies to all activities undertaken by NSB Global Security and extends to the actions of our employees, subcontractors, and suppliers.

4. Policy Goals

• Compliance with Environmental Legislation: Comply with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and standards as well as other requirements to which the company subscribes.

• Waste Management: Reduce waste through re-use and recycling and by choosing recycled or recyclable products and materials where these alternatives are available, economical, and suitable.

• Energy Use: Make efficient use of natural resources, especially energy and water. Aim to manage energy wisely in all operations.

• Training: Provide training for staff so that they can carry out their job functions in an environmentally responsible manner.

• Transportation: Reduce the environmental impact of business travel and transportation by opting for low carbon transportation methods and encouraging the use of teleconferencing and telecommuting where feasible.

• Sustainable Resources: Promote the use of sustainable or certified sources of supply, where this is practicable.

• Continual Improvement: Continually improve the environmental performance of our activities and integrate recognised applicable best practice into our business operations.

5. Responsibilities

• Owner and Principal:
  Sets environmental objectives, approves controls and reviews performance and legal obligations.

• Workers and Subcontractors:
  Must follow site environmental controls, prevent pollution, use resources responsibly and report spills or concerns immediately.

• Appointed Environmental Adviser (where required):
  Provides specialist support, monitoring or review for activities with material environmental risk.

Environmental performance and significant issues will be reviewed by Nathan Bell at least annually and after any material incident or operational change.

This policy is available to workers, subcontractors, clients, suppliers and other interested parties and will be communicated during relevant induction or mobilisation activities.

By working with Bell Security and Risk Limited, all personnel and partners acknowledge and agree to uphold the principles set out in this Environmental Policy.
